As Principal & Owner/Operator of CCINC Group of Companies, Lanis Anthony helms four service divisions: CREATIVE CONSORTIUM, a marketing-communications consultancy; CAPALYST, a catalyst, connection-maker and negotiator for capital investment; C2C, a business training, counselling and consulting service, and; CONNECTZ, a dynamic new approach to multi-million dollar fundraising based on a proprietary technology system that serves as a matchmaker for fundraisers, foundations and philanthropists.
She presently is Chair of SAINT and is also entrenched in the nation's movement to expedite concept to commercialization as a member of the National Advisory Board for NRC-IRAP and the Province of Saskatchewan's Enterprise and Innovation Entrepreneurship Council. In addition, Lanis serves on the board of directors of the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO) and is an associate of the Angel Capital Association (ACA).
An accomplished businesswoman and business educator, Lanis is known as a "compassionate capitalist". A serial entrepreneur, she has started more than 10 successful ventures since 1985 and at this date, is an active equity partner in six companies besides CCINC. These companies run the gamut of sectors, from high tech to pharma manufacturing, motion picture to new media, and agri-value to consumer goods. She actively invests in a variety of businesses in which she can serve as both as angel as well as a mentor, board member and advisor.
